For over a month now Hudson has been able to sleep through the night.
Notice I said he's been able to...not that he does it every night.
He would go through the night one night then the next he would be up every hour. Ugh!
But Saturday night and last night he slept through both nights. First time it's been 2 nights in a row.
I'm PRAYING that he does it again tonight. I'm loving my uninterrupted sleep. Or should I say uninterrupted by him. I still wake up every few hours and go in a check on him.
Maybe soon I'll be able to sleep through the night also.
This is reassuring to read - we're expecting in November and all I keep hearing is what a nightmare it'll be and to "sleep now while you can"!! Glad that he's settling into a routine!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Hudson!! Have you tried just giving him a paci and not nursing him? Pearson is sleeping through the night consistently now, but in the beginning he would still "wake up" (grunt/move around/but not open his eyes) every night around 3 or 4am. I would give him his paci, turn the sound machine on and let him be. This would pacify him until 6 or 6:30 making me not have to feed him in the middle of the night!! I still have to go in there a few times a week to give him his paci, but I don't mind at all considering that takes 2 minutes rather than 30-45 to change a diaper and nurse him.
