mismatched

Call it what you want, but this post is going to be all over the place and "mismatched" if you will.

*I am going back to work today. I'm feeling much better. Not 100% but better.

*I finished designing our Christmas card last night! John helped me with a few finishing touches and I'm so excited to see how they look printed! I will post it after we mail them out so I won't spoil the surprise! I love that we worked on them together!

*I love how things just become tradition. I guess it helps that I insist on watching the "tradition" movie instead of Star Wars. How is Star Wars going to help with the Christmas mood?

Anyway, watching Elf while decorating our tree has become our tradition. I love it because the length of the movie is about how long it takes to decorate the tree.

I love our sweet little tree. It's sort of Charlie Brown like but it was perfect in our apartment back in Waco.

I'm going to save the rest of our pictures of our Christmas decorations for The Nester's Christmas Tour of Homes.

Part of my job is to recruit mentors for VISD and because I recruit mentors I am also a mentor myself.

Each Wednesday morning at 8:30 I go to a local elementary school and work with a sweet little girl named Jessica.

The day we were leaving for Dallas for Thanksgiving I got this in the mail.

It went straight on the refrigerator! So sweet!
