I am going to TRY and pick just one thing from each month of 2009 that stands out. Let's see if I can do it.
JanuaryJohn had his
last first day of school!
FebruaryWe
celebrated Valentine's Day with homemade pizza and chocolate fondue. I really think we will do that again this year!
MarchI went to
visit my BFF Beth in North Carolina and really can't wait to see her again!!
AprilI participated in
Baylor's 2nd Relay for Life with my office.

John took his
comprehensive oral exams and PASSED! It was such a stressful week!
May - Don't ask me to keep this list short. A lot happened. A lot of GOOD STUFF!
John was ordained at our church in Hamilton. Such an incredible service.

We went to College Station to see
my brother's band play. He is an amazing drummer!
John graduated with a Master of Divinity from Truett Seminary and a Master of Music from Baylor. It was a long 4 years!
John took me "camping" for a thank you for supporting him through school. It was an amazing weekend!
My sister also graduated from Baylor!

We went to Austin and got to
visit our sweet friends The Eppers!
JuneJohn had his
tonsils taken out. So not fun!

I got my
MacBook Pro!
JulyWe made
the announcement to our work and church that we would be moving to Victoria.

I went all Apple and
got my iPhone!
AugustJohn and I
celebrated 4 years of marriage!
We
moved from Waco to Victoria.

Our sweet friends The Broaddus' were
our first house guests!

After only a VERY short time of looking for a job,
I got a job that I love! It is challenging work but I love it!
SeptemberMy
sister and her husband came to visit!

John's
mom and sister came for a visit!

And
my mom came for to visit. We had lots of guests in September!
OctoberJohn did his part to Keep Victoria Beautiful!
We had a weekend full of
visiting friends all over the place!
We went back to Baylor for Homecoming!
NovemberWe pulled a
very fun prank on a co-worker of John's.

Candace and Maddox came to visit.
DecemberJohn forgot me.We had snow in Victoria!
We celebrated our
first Christmas in Victoria!

A lot has happened this year and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us in 2010!

Ps: Can you believe 10 years ago we were freaking out about Y2K?!?!

ReplyDeleteWe've also laughed about how suspenseful the whole Y2K New Year's was, eating and playing games with friends and holding our breaths at the stroke of midnight, wondering if the world would indeed stop turning!
