My Kitchen Top 10

I've decided to make a list of my 10 favorite kitchen items...mostly for fun. Pretty often when I use somthing I think, "this is my favorite kitchen item I own." So since there are several I thought I would share mine. Share your Kitchen Top 10 also...it's fun to see what other people love!

1. KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer is a must have! Any time I bake cakes or cookies, whip cream or egg whites I use my KitchenAid. I love it! And it's red so that can't hurt!

2. Cuisinart 14-Cup Food Processor makes my life so much easier! I love it because the bowl is huge and can handle anything I throw in there. 3. Silpat Liners make baking cookies a cinch! Nothing sticks to these and they make my life so much better. I especially appreciate these silicone wonders when making brittle! 4. Cuisinart Grind-n-Brew Coffee Maker is my alarm clock and pick-me-up all in one! When I do remember to program it the night before I try and set it for the same time that I need to get up. While it is rather loud, it also reminds me that freshly ground coffee is moments away from being enjoyed! 5. Microplane Grater and Zester are must haves! I use the zester for citrus fruits as well as fresh nutmeg...nothing compares to freshly grated nutmeg. The larger one is used for grating Parmigiano-Reggiano {only the best}!

6. Cuisinart Smart Stick Stainless Steel Hand Blender & Chopper is the best 3-in-1 tool. I originally bought it because I needed an imersion blender. Well, when I saw this I immediately knew I had to have it. What I love is the mini food processor that it comes with.

7. Waring Pro Blender is the world's greatest blender! I have want this blender for a while now {I got it for Christmast} and John has wanted it as well. I wanted it because of it's wonderous blending ability. John however knows the story behind the blender. Fred Waring was a famous choral person in the 1930s and loved his drinks blended a certain way...enter Waring blender!

8. Kitchen Torch is such a fun tool to have! John got this torch for me for Christmas and we have enjoyed it so much. It did cause some problems in the beginning but the kinks are worked out and lots of Crème Brûlée is on the horizon!

9. Citrus Juicer is a huge time savor! When I need to juice just one lemon, lime or orange I just squeeze, but when the job is heavy duty and I need to juice several this gadget works wonders. Plus, all the parts are dishwasher safe...John loves that!

10. Chef's Knife is something I could not live without! It is the best multi-purpose tool in my kitchen. A very nice, sharp, and comfortable chef's knife makes food prep a breeze! {note: I do not own the knife in the picture. Mine is not that nice...I wish!}
Ok, so that's my list! What's yours?
