John took this picture of me last night with this caption: The picture you see above is of my wife, Lindsay Rose Woods, using her God-given, gender-specific skills to repair a garment by sewing. This is a bright new day of domestication for the Woods family.

If you know me at all you know this is a huge milestone! Maybe I'll do a quilt next!

New Blog!

New Blog...Semi New Year!

We have had a wonderful weekend so far. Thursday night was our weekly date night. It all started with an invitation, a creative one at that, by John. We went to go see Charlie Wilson's War followed by dinner. We had a wonderful night spending time together. With such a busy week it is always nice to slow down, relax and enjoy time together.

Last night we went to the most surprising restaurant! Our good friends, Josh and Autumn Lockett discovered a restaurant in Meridian called The Cactus Grill so we went with them and Patrick and Courtney. We had wonderful food like Cornish hen, vegetable ratatouille, fillet mignon with a peppercorn bearnaise sauce and seafood enchiladas. It was WONDERFUL! We had a great time with our friends!

I love that it is a 3 day weekend. It is only Saturday afternoon and I still have 2 more days until I go back to work..yay!
