Quarter Century

Tuesday was my 25th birthday and I had the best birthday/birthday weekend. John and my parents got their creative minds together and had my sweet friend Beth fly in for the weekend! Friday night John and I picked her up from the airport and we spent a fabulous weekend in McKinney. Saturday we shopped til we couldn't shop anymore! We spent a few hours in downtown McKinney so Beth could experience the greatness of our town. I had been talking about McKinney for years and Beth told me that I had not exaggerated about the greatness. We then went and had a late lunch at Brio's Tuscan Grille...AMAZING! After lunch we went to the Allen Outlet Mall which has great shops! {Not as good as San Marcus, but better than Round Rock and Hillsboro!} After our glorious day of shopping and spending money we went back to my parents' house to spend time with my family and have my birthday celebration! My brother {Scott} and his wife {Melanie} and son {Topher} were all in town from Minnesota so it was great spending time with them! For my birthday I got Bernardo sandals and a pashmina from my parents and from John I got a ring and some new earphones for my iPod...I have weird ears and the earphones it comes with don't fit in my ears!
