Honeybun Cake

Honeybun Cake

Raise your hand if you like to eat leftover cake for breakfast? Come on..you know you do!

My mom made this cake all the time growing up. It's breakfast but tastes like you are eating dessert. Perfect!

Honeybun Cake
Lady's Recipe

Cake:
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup buttermilk
3/4 cup canola oil
4 eggs

Swirl:
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons milk

Combine cake mix, sugar, buttermilk and oil in a large bowl. Add eggs one at a time. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the cake and swirl into batter.
Bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until a wooden skewer comes out clean.

Once the cake is done, combine powdered sugar, vanilla and milk and drizzle over the cake.

This is the very best served warm straight out of the oven!!

Check out the recipe below..I've got lots of recipes coming out this week!!
