Snow!

Living in South Texas has it's adjustments.

It's crazy hot and humid in the summer.

The grass is still green...in December!

The need for heavy coats just doesn't exist.

And it snows VERY RARELY.

The last time it snowed in Victoria was about 5 or 6 years ago and it was on Christmas Day. Obviously, we weren't here yet. But before that it had been at least 15 years since they had snow.

But our first December in Victoria it snowed! And it snowed hard for several hours.

It was very strange seeing snow when the grass was still green. And because we are in South Texas, the ground was still too warm for it to stick.

But it was a real snow and so much fun! Look, this is the best picture I got. John's car in the church parking lot.
Snow!
