Stick a Fork in Me

It is currently 5:34 am. I've been awake for at least an hour and went to bed probably around 2:00. You do the math.

The main reason for my lack of sleep tonight is the horrible headache I've had since I got in bed.

I've been praying all night that I would either start having contractions or my water would break.

I've only maybe had 5 or 6 Braxton Hicks contractions this whole pregnancy.

I am 1 week and 1 day from my due date. Everyone thought this little guy would come early. I'm praying he still does. I'm beyond ready.

Tomorrow is my 28th birthday. It really doesn't feel like my birthday is tomorrow. I guess we are too consumed with our precious baby boy that we are ready to meet.

I started getting carpal tunnel in my right hand almost 2 months ago. It's slowly gotten worse and in the last week I have it in my left hand also. It's painful.

I haven't blogged in 2 weeks. I have no idea why. I have pictures of our house to post yet the idea of creating that post overwhelms me. Other than that there is not a lot going on. Just waiting.

The sun is starting to come up.

In the short time I did sleep last night, I dreamed that my friend and I opened a shop called Post Hudson. It was a women's boutique that specialized in postpartum clothing. We had tons of shoes.

I'm officially done. I'm ready to hold my sweet baby boy, ready to not be pregnant, ready to see my husband with our son and ready to wear cute sho

  1. Friend! Hang in there... Praying right now for rest & joy!

  2. Girl- blog about your house before Hudson arrives or it will never happen... and I want to see pictures! :) JK- do your best to rest and Hudson will come before you know it!!!! Love ya'll!

  3. I agree with the above posters! Rest now as much as you can, even though you can't sleep! :) Enjoy some time with John and, if you can, go do something spontaneous, it will cheer you up and take your mind off being pregnant for a while. That's my advice. :)

  4. None of your previous posters are pregnant right now, are they?! :) You are almost there!! It's okay to be done!! :) Praying for a healthy baby boys and momma in the coming days, hours, minutes!! :)

  5. It's a marathon, girl, and you are ALMOST THERE!!!! The last steps are the hardest. I'm praying that he arrives healthy, happy, and SOON!!! :-)
