Setting New Years resolutions is about as traditional as eating black eye peas in the south. We all set them and usually fall behind. But in the spirit of the New Year, here are my resolutions for 2009..

1. Lose weight. Duh. Everyone says this but it's true. It's my #1 goal this year.
2. Read at least 1 book a month. I have the time and I should be doing this easy. I've already got 3 books lined up. Ana's Story by Jenna Bush, The Shack by William P. Young, and Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger. (The same author as The Devil Wears Prada.)

What good books have you read that you recommend? I need at least 12! :)


  1. Lindsay - I joined Golds Gym right before the holidays. Me and another girl have started working out at 5:30 in the morning on weekdays if you need a workout partner. Or I could meet you over at the Bear trail a couple of times a week if you need motivation.

    3 books I LOVE - The Red Tent, The Book Thief, The Poisonwood Bible.

  2. make sure you watch the new episode of lipstick jungle online.
