We had a weekend full of fun (and some not so fun) for the first weekend of summer!
John had to go into the office on Friday for a couple of hours so Hudson and I went to the pool with Libby and Grant. Hudson's favorite part about going to the pool is being able to run around in the grass. :)
He sort of enjoyed the float with Grant.
After his nap on Friday, we took him to get his anemia and lead poisoning testing done. We went to one clinic first but they tried to draw blood like they do for adults. It was torturous and they were not able to get any blood out of his arm. :( So we went to the children's hospital and they were able to get it much easier.
On our way home he couldn't figure out why there was a bandage on his fingers and one of those fingers is part of his finger sucking pair. He was not a fan.
But he quickly realized he could just suck one finger. Sweet boy. :)
When we got home he got to enjoy a treat for being such a brave boy. He loved his popsicle!
And finished the whole thing in less than 5 minutes.
On Saturday, Hudson's sweet friend Landry had her 1st birthday party! Hudson loved stealing the Twister spinner.
They had a train outside for the kids. John took Hudson for a ride and neither of them loved it that much.
Landry obviously loved her cake.
Our sweet family celebrating Landry!
Sunday we went to church, came home for lunch and naps and then played in the backyard. We had a very fun first weekend of summer and are really hoping them temperature won't get too much hotter!
aw the blood draw was the worst! I love the picture of him sucking his fingers, what a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteAdelyn just had hers yesterday. Kyle had to lay on top of her to keep her from wiggling around. no fun!
