Today was a great Saturday. Nothing special, but just a fun day at home.
While John worked on the yard outside, Hudson and I played inside. (That's Mederma for Kids on his forehead...hoping for no scar!)
John's project today. He laid the stone and planted the Dwarf Mondo Grass. We've been stumped for a couple of years with what to do with this area. It is under the patio and gets zero sunlight.
Once the patio was cleaned up Hudson and I spent pretty much the rest of the day outside with John playing.
Hudson is the happiest outside and could probably spend all day outside.
He loves finding sticks and walking around with them. He taunts Oliver with them.
He loved the new area and kept playing with the soaker hoses.
He was very helpful moving the sprinklers.
Then we busted out the bubbles.
We've tried these a couple other times and he wasn't interested at all. Today, he loved them!
He kept trying to pick them up off the grass.
The sprinklers helped cool us off. Hudson wasn't crazy about them today. He preferred to be dry today.
For dinner we had cornbread salad and grilled chicken outside on the patio. Hudson loved the cornbread salad.
Now John and I are relaxing on the sofa watching Hatfields & McCoys.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
