This weekend was busy but SO fun! Friday night we had a progressive Christmas dinner party with my girls bible study. We ended with dessert and a white elephant gift exchange at our house. I absolutely love these girls and our time together on Tuesday nights.
Saturday we hosted a Christmas open house for the music ministry including the choir (75 people plus their families), the orchestra and their families, the praise team and families, the children's choir volunteers, and the tech team. We had a great turnout and a wonderful time. John helped me a ton with the food and I could not have done it all without his amazing help.
The savory table...we made PW's Spicy Dr Pepper Pork with buns for sandwiches, tortellini & tomato skewers, veggies with buttermilk peppercorn dip, fresh cranberry salsa, chicken enchilada dip, and not pictured cream cheese sausage balls and stuffed mushrooms.
The sweet table...we made cinnamon toffee triangles, cranberry oat bars, coconut almond brownies, pecan pie bars, tiger butter, dipped pretzels, red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips, and sugar coated marshmallows.
Looks like a busy, but fun time!!
