Christmas at Northside

For Christmas this year our church partnered with Habitat for Humanity, Wells Fargo, and Interstate Battery to build a home for a family. On Sunday we handed over the keys to the family after church and had lunch at the house.

Our family of 4 at lunch. It's pretty difficult to get a good picture of all 4 of us these days. I hate that you can't see Hudson's pants in this picture but they are the same plaid as Emma's dress.

Then on Sunday night there was a musical celebration with the adult choir, The Collective (the youth choir), Collide (kids choir), and orchestra. The music was so beautiful and I was SO proud of John and all of his hard work.

Hudson was in the nursery and I kept Emma with me and she lasted almost through the whole thing. We had to leave at the beginning of the last song.

I loved watching John in his element. He has worked so incredibly hard and it was wonderful to see it all come together!
