hudson's 1 year well check

Hudson had his 1 year well check this morning right in the middle of his morning nap. Why did I do that?

Other than being a little fussy at times he did really great. Plus he got an A+ from Dr. R. Always what we want to hear.

I'm so thankful for John's flexible schedule and that he has been at most of these appointments with me. He got 2 shots this morning and he cried so hard. It made us both tear up. It was the kind of cry that you want to make sure they take a break to breathe. Poor little guy. :(

He is right on track with all of his development milestones and doing everything he should be doing. That's always wonderful and reassuring to hear.

We are so thankful for our healthy growing boy! He has gone back up to a higher percentile again for weight! He's always been a bigger guy but around 9 months slowed down a little.

His official 12 months stats:

weight: 23 pounds 10 ounces (60th percentile)
height: 31 inches (80th percentile)
head circumference: 18 3/4 inches (80th percentile)

  1. He has gotten bigger!! I was shocked when Pearson only weight 21lbs 7 oz. Our scale at home was saying 23 so we have a "little" guy now, but he sure doesn't seem little to me. His cousin Olivia is 6 weeks younger and she is just like 17 pounds. She seems so tiny to me!

  2. First of all, I am so impressed at your timely updates on your blog. I am so behind. Second, sweet boy! I checked Ethan's stats at one year... he and H are the exact same for head and height... but E-man weighed 26 lbs 12 oz. Hello 90th percentile that's been his BFF his whole life. HA! H is adorable!
